Margarida Fardilha

Margarida Fardilha is assistant professor at University of Aveiro. Alongside with her research  signal transduction by phosphoprotein phosphatase, she is member of a support team for curricular and pedagogical innovation.

„The COIL experience to develop global competence – The case of the University of Aveiro“

Her presentation (together with Ana Balula) will focus on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) as an opportunity to embed the international, intercultural and global dimensions into the curriculum. Internationalisation is particularly relevant in HE to develop global competence, thus promoting intercultural knowledge dialogues. Additionally, based on real COIL projects developed with the University of Aveiro, some of the challenges and advantages that these initiatives entail will also be highlighted.
